Euan McGrath
Born & raised in the grassy wilds of Sussex, for the majority of his early years Euan’s only contact with modern music was through his sisters’ 80’s pop collection and his brother’s interest in brass bands!
Thankfully, help was at hand in the form of late night radio and Euan’s interest grew with each night spent huddled under the sheets (with a radio). He got an ‘In The Mix 93’ compilation tape when he was 13 and found those crazy old repetitive beats & 303s quite alluring. A few years later, Euan found out about a band called The Prodigy, and they warped his little mind … all for the better of course! That was it; with every passing year his interest doubled and he went from having a small collection of home-made tapes to buying 2 new albums every week. He had an insatiable thirst for new music and would go from Hip Hop to Jungle to Breakbeat to Rock to House and Jazz. Well, maybe not Jazz.
All this kind of forced him into trying out DJing and he hasn’t looked back since. Not actually meeting a DJ until he went to uni, Euan bought his first decks and was putting on nights within a year. He ’s a born entertainer, and is at the total mercy of the crowd, whether it’s rocking 3am breaks or a messy mash-up bar set, he loves it all.
